Students from Batken region

Student Affairs department of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University conducted a study to determine the impact of events on the  border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on our students living in the Batken region and on the needs of our students.

According to the information received, 529 students (9 percent of the total number of our students) from the Batken region study at our university, 185 students live in the Batken Region, where the incident occurred, and 181 students in the Leilek District.

After the events that took place on April 29-30, 2021, on behalf of our administration, an electronic questionnaire was prepared to study the situation of our students and provide them with the necessary assistance.  105 students living in Batken and Leilek regions took part in the survey within 1 day. Survey was conducted by WhatsApp.

Within the framework of the established information, a campaign was initiated to help our students living in Batken Region and Leilek District.
